![]() ![]() Travelling past the house, the player will find another sparkling patch. After exhausting all the dialogue, Adina will be forced to leave. The Huncher threatens Adina, saying that she will kill her, but only after the 'smell' of the Forest God is gone. Going upstairs, Adina meets the Huncher, an old hunch backed mouse, and a Kid playing an instrument. Adina's footsteps on the stairs alert the Huncher to her presence and she will be transported inside the cabin into the basement. Walking right, the player will come across a cabin on slits. After walking a short distance, Adina will be transported the Huncher's Hollow. The player needs to find the arm they saw at the start of the game and take it to the fox's cabin to use his stove to set it alight. They mention that they are going to burn the arm of a dead criminal to light the way to the Huncher's Hollow. The Forest (Part 2)Īfter leaving the Mountain, Adina will come across a King and his entourage who also want to go to the Frozen Lake as well as see The Huncher for unexplained reasons. Brown grants Adina safe passage through the Forest. He mentions The Huncher, an enemy of the Forest God. Brown will allow Adina across the drop by making a bridge however he will not let her see the God because it is ill. Returning to the Mountain, Adina will use whatever snowmen she makes to convince Godtender Brown that she is royalty and that they are her entourage. The player needs to make the bodies of two snow men and then return to the Forest to find items to make faces out of which includes: a bottle with a cat's paw on it, a pad lock, a trumpet and a dog's collar. He will refuse to let Adina see the Forest God as she is not royalty. ![]() ![]() Hitting the bell on the other side of the drop will cause a blind 'Godtender' named Brown to appear. The player will find two more patches of sparkling ground and there are several trees with snow on their branches around to make snowmen out of. Adina needs to pray to the Forest God as the fortune teller ghost/snowman told her to and she will be transported to the Forest God's Mountain. Returning to the shrine, the player will discover that the Talking Cat has eaten the mouse and taken his hat. She also informs Adina that spirits will often stay connected to personal objects. #THE FOX IN THE FOREST PLAYTHROUGH HOW TO#The snowman will reveal itself to have been a medium and fortune teller whilst alive and will tell Adina how to properly pray to the Forest God. The player must search for a planchette in the trees above and bring it back to the snowman. After making the body, Adina will comment that she needs 'something special' for its face. #THE FOX IN THE FOREST PLAYTHROUGH PATCH#Adina will come across a second patch of sparkly ground. After makings its face, Adina can talk to the snowman, however they are very confused and of no help to Adina's journey. Using snowballs, the player must hit the sparkling branches that have snow on them to make the snowman's body. Adina will comment that it looks like a good place to build a snowman. Adina also meets a fox in a cabin who wants to preemptively sell her a coffin and a mouse on a shrine who wants her to pray to the Forest God (which Adina does not know how to).Īt some point, the player will find a sparkling patch of ground that they can inspect. Shortly after entering the forest, Adina will come across an arm sticking out of the snow (which will come in handy later). Adina will then meet a Talking Cat on a bridge who forewarns of her death. To throw, click at what you what Adina to hit. To collect snowballs, simply click the ground. Walking right (east), Adina will come across some bells that she can make chime by hitting them with snowballs. However she discovers that she must find the Forest God to earn safe passage through the forest. The player takes control of Adina Astra who wants to travel to the Frozen Lake on the other side of the forest to see her deceased lover and find the Ghost Star. The game opens with Mae's grandfather offering to tell her a Longest Night story. ![]()
